Sláine
Inspired by the hero Cú Chulainn from the Irish Ulster Cycle and named after the legendary first High King of Ireland Sláine mac Dela, it is a blend of fantasy and gaelic, gallic, celtic, roman and christian mythology and history.


Neil Gaiman
He is an author of fantasy and scifi novels, graphic novels, comics and scripts. Sandman and American Gods (he is the author of both the novel and the comics) are widely known and loved.




Alejandro Jodorowsky
Chilene author, actor, director and producer published his first movie in the late 50s, John Lennon would later sponsor La Montaña Sagrada, a very psychedelic and esoteric movie. He then went to France and joined Moebius in the new comic magazine Metal Hurlant (literal French for heavy metal, “screaming metal”; it was exported to the US as an independent spinoff series Heavy Metal with multiple animation film adaptions Heavy Metal F.A.K.K) and began authoring comics, such as the Metabaron saga and The Screaming Planet. As of writing he is closing in on 100 years, born 1929, and still active.




Jonathan Hickman
Has written some nice conspiratory-themed comics (The Black Monday Murders, Nighty News, Secret). Also did a lot for Marvel.




Joe Hill
Artist name of Joseph King, son of Stephen King, Locke & Key, NOS4A2, The Black Phone, In The Tall Grass are all adaptions of works of his.




Spawn
Former government agent and killer is murdered for trying end his business for his pregnat wife and bargains with a devil to see her again, and in turn has to become a hellspawn.
